Dress Like a Farmer Day- 10/8
It's Farm to School Week! Let's honor our farmers by dressing like them.
For Mac OS users, there is a system setting that may not allow you to tab onto several types of elements in a web page. To change this setting:
Our students showed off their Lancer pride by wearing maroon, gray, black, and white on Show Up Day!
Students in each grade celebrated National Milk Day with milk mustaches made from a mixture of ice cream and heavy cream, yum!
Our 5th graders built marshmallow blasters using cups, balloons, and duct tape to study how force affects the distance objects will travel.
5th graders learned about their Constitutional rights and helped Mr. Martin sign the offical school constitution.
Our little patriots honored those who experienced the tragedy of 9/11 by wearing red, white, and blue. May we never forget.
Our students showcase their creativity even at recess time! Imaginary play including running a restaurant with friends is a great way to spend free time.
First graders used their time to tinker and build these pyramids out of magnets in library class.
Welcome back, Temperacnce Tigers! These 2nd graders are ready for a great year in their new classroom.
Our 3rd–5th graders traveled back in time to experience colonial life in Virginia! From learning about soldier life at a Continental Army encampment to helping with chores on a Revolution-era farm, students gained a hands-on look at history.
A huge congratulations to our 4th and 5th grade spellers! Spencer Lawhorne took first place and will represent ACPS at the regional spelling bee, while Kennedy Douglas earned second place and will be the alternate. All participants showed amazing Tiger courage and did an outstanding job!
TES students, families, and staff dove into the mystery of The Long-Lost Locket by David Gorman, set at the historic Waldameer & Water World amusement park. David even visited TES to share his journey as an author!
Students showed off their school spirit by dressing up in their favorite pajamas for Spirit Week!
Students had fun celebrating the 100th day of school by dressing up as 100-year-olds!
These students are all smiles as they show off their mini-bears on Valentine's Day!
We appreciate our TES staff for all they do!
