Our school is participating in the "Trout in the Classroom" project that hatches and raises trout as part of an environmental science learning experience. Our 3rd grade students and teacher are responsible for the care, growth, and ultimate release of these fish into the wild. What a great way to bring real-life science into the classroom!

The entire student body remembered the victims and heroes of 9/11 as they learned about the Patriot flag. Our principal, Mrs. Copp, shared the meaning of the flag's symbols and explained to the students what happend on 9/11/01. The flags were raised by our 5th grade helpers and the students pledged allegiance to the flag.
