Science Day

Students enjoyed a day filled with scientific observations and experiments. Students experienced a visit from Amazement Square's blow-up planetarium to learn about outer space. Classes conducted experiments with Mrs. Brown that included creating lava lamps and exploring a symphony of colors. 4-H gave presentations on buoyancy, types of rocks, and even let students dissect owl pellets! Students  had a scavenger hunt to view all the science projects and participated in science-themed lessons and readings in class. What a wonderful day of wondering!

The 27 students who participated were rewarded with an ice cream party, and the class with the highest totals enjoyed a bingo party. Contrats to 2nd grade for winning the bingo event!
