Alumni Day

Mark your calendars for this special event!

Trout in the Classroom

Our school is participating in the "Trout in the Classroom" project that hatches and raises trout as part of an environmental science learning experience. Our 3rd grade students and teacher are responsible for the care, growth, and ultimate release of these fish into the wild. What a great way to bring real-life science into the classroom!

School Spirit

We've been seeing a lot of school spirit this week for Red Ribbon Week! Here are some photos of our orange and black day! TES Tigers keep their paws off of drugs!

Thank you to our art teacher, Ms. Balint, for allowing the students to participate in VDOT's "Paint a Plow" program. Look for our plow on the roads this winter!

Gobbles of Fun Family Night

Please mark your calendars! Our family fun night flyer is attached.

Fall is in the air!

Kindergarteners in Mrs. Williams class gobbled up the homemade applesauce they made after learning about apples and Jonny Appleseed.

Back to school Night Bash

We hada  wonderful turn-out at Back to School Night! Parents had time to visit their child's classes, see and hear some of the projects the students have been working on, and visit with teachers. We had a delicious meal provided by our Good News Club teachers from Emmanuel Baptist Church and prizes from the PTO!

Patriot Day

The entire student body remembered the victims and heroes of 9/11 as they learned about the Patriot flag. Our principal, Mrs. Copp, shared the meaning of the flag's symbols and explained to the students what happend on 9/11/01. The flags were raised by our 5th grade helpers and the students pledged allegiance to the flag.
